I like them for extended range buckshot targets. Single A or two C to neutralize. We were shooting these out to 50 yards for that Pan Am shotgun thing in Ky. To reset you hit a cardboard backer with spay adhesive and slap on a new 5x11 photocopy. It resets 10x faster than taping. It presented some interesting shooting problems. Having both hot and reduced recoil buck was plus. Also knowing which choke held a pattern at that distance which is not nessasarily always a full.
That or we could just put out scuba tanks and other monster pieces of steel. We have all see that though.

We used them at the Bay Area shotgun match last year and it definitely makes it possible to shoot buckshot on paper. Shooting on regular IPSC targets just wastes too much time taping, these are a breeze to reset.
