Low price =/= high failure rate. I have a Leapers rds in my 15-22 and have ran over 15,000 rounds through without issues and has held zero remarkably well. I also have an NC Star on a Mosin Nagant 91 30 that has no issues either. Same for a Barska on a Glenfield 25 that punches the same hole at 50 yards. If you want to spend unnecessary cash for a .22 plinker scope go ahead, but again, not necessary.
