Even though your post had many valid points, I found your repeated statements about wearing body armor a little chest-thumping. How many beginners do you know who would buy a Level III+ armor for their first intro to firearms class? (especially considering that many don't return for any instruction after their first class). Sounds like you went into this class with wrong expectations.
