Default PTS Handgun Skill Builder / Saturday, May 10, 2014 @ ASR

Calguns Members,

Come train with us on SATURDAY, May 10, 2014 @ 8:00am at Angeles Shooting Ranges located at 12651 Little Tujunga Canyon, Eagles Nest "C" Lake View Terrace, CA 91342.

The cost of the class is $125.00 (8:00am to 1:00pm).

The following will be covered:

-Marksmanship up to 25 yards
-Presentations against single and multiple targets
-Fighting stances - standard, rear, support side and firing side engagements
-Kneeling engagements
-Multiple targets engagements in move-and-shoot scenarios
-Lateral and diagonal move & shoot
-Shooting from cover/standing & kneeling
-Close-contact engagements incorporating movement
-Intermediate engagements incorporating movement
-Failure to stop drills
-Shooting one handed
-Speed, emergency, and tactical reloads
-Type 1, 2 & 3 malfunction clearance
-Assault Courses incorporating the above skills

Course Requirements:

Clients should have eye and ear protection (we'll provide ear protection if you don't have any). A good holster (preferably kydex), sturdy belt and magazine carrier (with belt loops). A semiautomatic handgun (9mm or higher caliber). At least 3 magazines. A hat and sun screen. Cargo pants are recommended. A small bag to carry your equipment. Clothing for seasonal weather. Adequate water and snack/lunch. Approximately 450 rounds of factory ammo, HOWEVER, we will adjust drills to suit individual shooters' ammo constraints.
