Default How do you keep it fun?

I absolutely love shooting in general, and shooting my rimfires in particular.

But I've reached a point where popping holes in paper has started to lose it's charm. That next 1/8" in accuracy isn't worth to me the cost required in ammo or equipment upgrades.

I can't be the only one who feels that way, so my question is how do you keep it fun?

I understand where we all live will dramatically affect the answers, but for those of us who live in a city, who's local ranges allow paper targets only, where there's a steel plate at 100 or 200 yards, where shooting in our backyards would get us thrown in jail...I'm talking realistically here; how do you stay interested in and find excuses for grabbing your favorite rimfire, where do you head out to, what games do you play or what matches to you attend ... ?
