Yeah, I've noticed that. I try to check it at least once per week. Hopefully, it's just because they're too busy approving apps.

My GUESS is SDSO will be ~2,000 CCWers by the end of this year and ~3,000 (50% increase) by the end of 2019. After that it will depend upon when they'll switch to online application process and scale up the CCW unit (i.e., larger office space, more staff, etc).

While those numbers are small compared to the county population, remember when Hutchens started liberalizing OC issuance again, they were down to around only 300 or 400 CCWers. As I posted above, they expect to break 20,000 in 2019.
