I would say do background checks for all gun sales then repeal all gun bans. If you pass your background check you should be able to own any firearm you desire.

Wouldn't it be convenient if the only guns 'the people' have are "smart" guns that one day can be 'turned off' by sending a signal via the internet or EMP. Hmmm

Mostly these days it seems 'smart' actually means stupid.

They want "smart" guns so they can turn them off when they want to.

After all, if it is cutting edge technology, totally unproven, expensive to implement, probably unreliable and restrictive that is just the kind of idea Senator Markey would propose. The press will jump all over it and ignore the potential downsides, making it sound like the best thing since sliced bread and micro stamping. :mad:

I'm sure the cost involved isn't going to be "that much at all" just like microstamping, since that's what the law makers say.

The Gov. will just turn them all OFF at will.

Oh and all law enforcement & an specially armed security for DEMOCRATIC Leaders be required to use same personal I.D. firearms as well.
