Only nine more spots left, better sign up quick guys...

Capybara 09-03-2013 9:16 PM

Eight more spots are still open for our October reloading clinic. You are going to be seriously bummed when it becomes 2014 and you STILL haven't learned how to reload.

We Need Your Spare Brass!

The CGSSA VC Reloading Club is seeking to build up it's reloading supplies for future clinics and we need your spare brass. Any caliber, as long as it's brass and boxer primed, we need it. We will take dirty range brass, cleaned and tumbled brass, any brass. Bring your spare brass to the CGSSA VC Reloading Club Meet and Greet on September 22 at Me and Ed's Pizza in Camarillo, PM me and I can pick it up from you if you are located in Ventura County or I can provide you mailing instructions if you are out of the county.

Thank you!

I do reloading at home with a Lee hand press. Would I be able to learn about more automatic equipment if I attended?

Hi Peter:

Perhaps in the future. The entire CGSSA Reloading Club for the whole state is working toward buying some high end automated loading machinery in the near future that we can make available to our members for a small donation.

Right now, we only have single stage presses we are working with. Having 8-12 Hornady Ammo Factories or Dillon 1050 autos would be nice but we are talking big bucks. We are a non-profit so that is still in the future. So no, it doesn't sound as if you would learn much more than you already know if you are using a hand press. Hand press is basically the same as a single stage functionally.

But you are welcome to attend.

I'm very interested but kids with soccer prevents any saturday morning/day classes for me until Jan-2014. I'll keep up with the thread here, and hope to get in on a class next year

Only one slot left for the October 13th Reloading Clinic people! Whose going to grab it?

In that case, you are in luck. Clinic is on a Sunday. :-)

I hate to do this, but can't make it this time around, I have family coming in from out of town.

I will be staying tuned. I really hope to meet everyone someday.

Shot my reloads from the last reloading clinic on Friday at the Ventura Chapter meet. I could totally tell the difference between the Federal factory and the reloads. I liked the reloads better. :D

We have just announced the first CGSSA Ventura County Reloading Clinic here

Sign up now, spots are going to disappear quickly, we are halfway full within ten minutes of announcing, 12 students only although you can observe for a $10.00 donation for lunch.

The CGSSA Ventura County Reloading Club February 2, 2014 Clinic is officially fully booked! We managed to sell out all twelve student slots in less than 28 hours. We are still fielding requests from more students, wanting to join us for reloading instruction.
Even though the Ventura County Chapter just recently purchased, built and setup their own reloading table with eight brand new reloading presses, which can accommodate up to twelve students, Big Bronco has volunteered to bring up the OC Chapters equipment, table and presses, This will give us a total of eighteen presses, so we will be able to accommodate up to 18 students for this clinic! We are scrambling to book other instructors too to support this record breaking largest CGSSA Reloading clinic in our history. Please join us, this is going to be an incredible event, there will be a huge amount of collective reloading knowledge in the room, we will have a lot of fun and most importantly, we will leave that day with 18 new reloaders.

If you are interested in joining us for this historic event, PM capybara, JJ805 or Stardunk or post in this thread and we will add you to the list.

Thank you Big Bronco and Bumslie for helping us make this happen!

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 7:57 PM.
