shooting ranges
Does anyone have a list of shooting ranges in the San Gabriel Valley?
|
I think there is only one in La Puente. Pretty sad.
|
Burro Canyon up above Azusa. It is an outdoor, daylight range. Not exactly in the SGV, but there is a range in Burbank and of course, Angles range.
|
La Puente Firing Range is actually in Industry... I think.

Burro Canyon in Azusa
Angeles in Lake View Terrace La Puente Firing Range in La Puente LA Gun Club in Los Angeles Burbank Firing Line in Burbank That's pretty much it unless there's one that I don't know about. |
I always look before I travel at Where To Shoot.org.
They list quite a few, both public and private in all areas. dc |
There's an android app that shows all ranges in ur area based on gps.... Can't remember the name because I had to hard reset my phone, but im sure u can find it if u search shooting range.... Not sure if they have it for iPhone tho....
Its pretty cool, gives u all the range info like hours, rentals, allowed calibers, shooting types, and pics |
Anyone shoot at Prado Olympic Shooting Park in Corona/Chino Hills? I like outdoor ranges. La Puente Firing Range doesn't do shotguns or rifles.
|
Prado is not too bad, but like any outdoor range, it's dusty and dirty and far away and the road going there sucks. I hit a big pothole once and knocked the alignment way off my SUV.

Given where I'm at, I'd rather drive to Burro. |
They don't? Guess they made exceptions for Appleseed since I shot my AR there.
