Build your own range book

Looks like Jim has shut down all the range book info.

Here ya go:

Hey guys... I saw traffic from this thread on my business website www.cerakote.info and wanted to let you know I kept the logbook from my old website www.oregonshooter.com which is now dead.

You can download the last version of the logbook at:
https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B3z...2MGQx&hl=en_US

It will not be updated in the future, but all the files are unlocked so you are welcome to edit it all you like.

Good luck! - Jim

Rite in the rain paper is simply awesome stuff. I've almost always got a pad of it on me and a pencil, even when scuba diving.

DVLDOC 06-11-2009 10:57 AM

Thanks, Stan!

damndave 06-14-2009 5:14 PM

DirtRacer151 06-17-2009 9:00 PM

Stan,
whats the best way to print the pages out? I printed them all out but then realized i had alot of trimming to do and then needed to get the hole punch. Can i just order the Rite in the Rain loose leaf paper and somehow get it printed on that paper? How did you do it? Thanks

James

I've been thinking about making an Android application for the T-Mobile G1 that functions like a range book. Would anyone be interested?

The apps seem to be Java.

+1 for the LG Dare application

locosway 07-15-2009 9:49 PM

I wouldn't do anything for an LG Dare. I don't even know what OS it runs. The G1 runs Android which is a Linux variant, so I'd be more inclined to make something for it even if it is in that crappy thing called Java.

Acorn556 07-15-2009 9:56 PM

stupid ? but what are the CALL boxes for in the ISPC page?

SteelRain 07-25-2009 12:29 PM

Good template. I like it but a range book should be simple and easy to use for a quick reference.

Whats wrong with java? It's perfect for a cellphone! Gotta love Java, just not JS! I was thinking about writing something like this for a blackberry.

I'd be interested if the app would run on the Droid Incredible...

Thank you. I have been using issue wirebound log books for a long time but this is way better.

no7vice 03-27-2011 12:52 PM

If you want something to get you started order from impactdatabooks.com they are really helpful and have alot of pages also for range estimation. I started with one and now I just make new pages whenever I need them.

The first link is broken.
