What classes do I need to get ccw?

I was wondering what classes are required to obtain a CCW, and if there is classes or training that will help my odds? Also will they ask why I want or need the permit? If so what should I say to help my odds? Should I just tell the truth and says its my right, or will that lead to a denial?
