Chiappa Rhino
Just picked it up a few days ago! I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I love how it feels in the hand - I'm normally not a fan of wooden grips on revolvers, but so far I like it.

Great looking gun, congrats!
|
Kind of odd they have all hex screws and then a flat head screw out of nowhere.
|
Looks great and from the reviews, you'll enjoy it at the range. Where did you acquire this piece?
|

That looks really cool. Like it came from a comic book. Please update with a range report. What's the trigger like?

What's the red dot?
|
It indicates if the hammer is cocked. The hammer is internal; the "hammer" you can see from the outside is actually a cocking lever, and even if you cock the hammer, it returns to the forward position.
|
Did you buy this in california?
|
Yes - Riflegear in Fountain Valley can sell these via SSE. www.riflegear.com

Truly excellent photography. But I am still having a hard time seeing the beauty of the firearm itself. I guess the classic design is too deeply embedded in my mind as the norm. |
How much was that cool toy?
|
Jealous, I love it. And great photography to match!
|
Great gun. Just bought the 60ds in gold. Yes yes, a safe queen but hunting the white Rhino 2 inch snub nose for range and HD.
|
how are these guns? I see them every now and then but no one talks about them.
|
How do you SSE a revolver?
Looking good! |

WANT!!!
|
Damn!
|
damn it now i want one.
|
That's awesome. I keep thinking Rick Deckard.
|
It's been a few months OP-
How many rounds down range? Follow up thoughts? |
Nice looking revolver. Reminds me of the MaTeba revolvers.
How does it shoot? Does it have the ability to fire .38 SPL or .38 SPL+P? |
As weird and complex as their internals look, I still seem to want to get one. Good-looking guns and the low bore axis is quite desirable. :)
|
That is an effin beauty. Looks like it was in Blade Runner
|
Not a fan of the looks or design
But, interested in how it shoots. I can forgive many things if it's a shooter.
Looking forward to you opinion after owning for a while. |
very nice
a bit different, but very nice.
please tell us more about it after shooting it. thanks for posting this beauty. reduce, reuse, recycle |
The Total Recall remake:

Not mine but my friends. This is the .357 version and we were shooting it with 38 specials. Almost no recoil at all. Very soft shooting gun, little to no muzzle flip...nice.
Love the gold, bling factor is high! :) https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/--...119_113446.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-H...119_113634.jpg |
That gold piece is awesome. Cartel approved. I want one!
|
I'm still not sure if those are sexy as hell.. Or fugly as hell...
But I want to shoot one. |

Doesn't hurt that it's more than just a gimmick and really is a good shooter too. |
Love it, but gold may be too gaudy for me. Looks like another handgun to add to the back of the line on that 1-in-30. Oh well.
Has anyone fired the 4, 5 and 6 inch versions and be able to comment on kick and recoil? I'm thinking the 50DS or 5 inch version. |
Not sure how i feel about these, a bit expensive though.
|
Looks like the one from hellboy
|
I have a 40DS, the 4 inch barreled one.
It's my favorite revolver to shoot and the one I'm most accurate with. I've put 1200 rounds of 38spl +p through it without a hiccup. I've got revolvers that are considered "nicer" than this (eg pythons), but this is the one I like the best. I'll be keeping it and looking for a two inch snubbie |
Thank you for providing a link to Riflegear! Ive been looking for one of these for some time now.
