Comments? With the ammo shortage I'm bored. Soldering iron in hand I went after my scattergun, no balls to touch my Glock!
Began life as an 870 Express. I also have a Choate mag extension. The stock is a knoxx with the recoil reduction, which actually IMO does not reduce anything...

I may practice on an airsoft pistol first :biggrinjester:

I Havn't figured out yet how pro's get a good finish. With this I knocked down the factory texture with my dremel, so I had a smooth somewhat even surface to work with. Does anyone know what they do with the Glock frames do they sand first or sue a hot knife to smooth is over?

SNCaliber 03-12-2013 1:03 PM

from what i've seen some do that, or just stipple first, and sand lightly afterwards

you've got the gift; good job.

I dont consider myself a pro but I try to use the smallest and pointiest tip I can find. You can even sharpen a nail into particular shapes - Cones, pyramids, hexagons ect. and use that as the soldering tip.

This is with a standard "small" tip. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1.../26614rem3.jpg

Looks good, man. Do a little more until you feel comfortable then tackle that Glock.

That looks awesome! I've been wanting to do some stippling on some pmags because it adds grip but mainly because it looks cool but I don't know if my dad will let me haha.
