Ironically, I donít see any white supremacy activity in my little corner of the world. Itís probably a bad time to be white and a gun owner. It wonít matter what you think if you meet the above criteria.

CessnaDriver 08-05-2019 6:56 PM

Minority on minority murder rate is something nobody wants to speak of, especially now when racist whitey can be demonized to help the democrats.

In 2017 the black community in America, making up just 13% of the US population was responsible for;

51.3% of all murders
54.3% of all Robberies
28.7% of all rapes
33.5% of all aggravated assaults
29.8% of all burglaries
43.9% Illegal weapons posessions
37% of ALL VIOLENT CRIME!

The 2017 FBI Uniform Crime Report is the source of the statistics...

Racist!!! Reparations will take care of the crimes committed by minorities and gay people.

CessnaDriver 08-05-2019 7:42 PM

Best data I could find so far....

https://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/press/rhovo1215pr.cfm

VICTIMS AND OFFENDERS WERE OF THE SAME RACE OR OF HISPANIC ORIGIN IN HALF OF VIOLENT CRIMES FROM 2012 TO 2015

WASHINGTON ó Half (51 percent) of violent victimizations from 2012 to 2015 were intraracial, meaning victims and offenders were the same race or were both of Hispanic origin, the Bureau of Justice Statistics announced today. Violent victimization includes rape or sexual assault, robbery, aggravated assault and simple assault. During the 4-year aggregated period from 2012 to 2015, U.S. residents experienced 5.8 million violent victimizations each year.

While half of the victimizations were intraracial, 41 percent of violent victimizations during the period involved victims and offenders of different races or Hispanic origin (interracial). Among black victims, 63 percent of violent victimizations were committed by black offenders, 11 percent by white offenders and 7 percent by Hispanic offenders. Among white victims, 57 percent of victimizations were committed by white offenders, 15 percent by black offenders and 11 percent by Hispanic offenders. Among Hispanic victims, 40 percent of violent victimizations were committed by Hispanic offenders, 20 percent by white offenders and 20 percent by black offenders. The race of the offender or the number of offenders was unknown in 8 percent of the violent crimes.

During 2012-15, the rate of white-on-white violent crime (12.0 per 1,000) was about four times higher than black-on-white violent crime (3.1 per 1,000). The rate of black-on-black crime (16.5 per 1,000) was more than five times higher than white-on-black violent crime (2.8 per 1,000). The rate of Hispanic-on-Hispanic crime (8.3 per 1,000) was about double the rate of white-on-Hispanic (4.1 per 1,000) and black-on-Hispanic (4.2 per 1,000) violent crime.

Findings are from BJSís National Crime Victimization Survey, which collects data from victims on their experiences with crime. Offender demographic characteristics are based on the victimís perceptions. From 1994 to 2015, white-on-white violence and black-on-black violence declined at a similar rate. White-on-white violence declined 79 percent (from 52.5 to 10.8 victimizations per 1,000 white persons). Black-on-black violence declined 78 percent (from 66.6 to 14.5 victimizations per 1,000 black persons). Information on Hispanic origin of offenders was not collected prior to 2012.

The report, Race and Hispanic Origin of Victims and Offenders, 2012-15 (NCJ 250747), was written by BJS statistician Rachel E. Morgan. The report, related documents and additional information about BJSís statistical publications and programs can be found on the BJS website at www.bjs.gov/.

I wonder why the FPC, the Calguns Foundation, the CRPA and and GOC werent invited to attend?

bronco75a 08-05-2019 9:13 PM

Considering the El Paso shooter was a registered Democrat and the Dayton shooter was a member of the Central Ohio Socialist Rifle Association - are they equating democrats/socialists with white supremacists or does the media conveniently leave out they were both Democrats.

Unforgiven 08-05-2019 10:53 PM

Thought I missed the meeting, until I read the story.

Jimi Jah 08-06-2019 8:42 AM

Will they discuss why nearly all these mass shooters are democrats?

Dirtlaw 08-06-2019 8:50 AM

I get it ... Noosum and his friends want to figure out ways they can have special regulations for people of a certain color. We know that all whites are inherently racist.

Victimization (it's what they do; it's who they are) on steroids.

SemperInExcretiaSumus 08-06-2019 10:22 AM

I think this is all because of the spin that they've been trying to put on the Gilroy shooter. It's obvious to anyone that reads anything that kid wrote, he was upset by the exurbanization of the town he grew up in, rich yupsters invading farmland. It's happening all over the country to small towns orbiting large metro areas. I find it funny, because most of the lefties I know spout the "gentrification bad" mantra, yet, ignore how suburban encroachment on rural areas is arguably worse-- y'know limited resources, carbon emissions and all that stuff. I'm not saying his actions, or his attitude, were justifiable in any way. However, trying to paint this as a white supremacist committing a terrorist act, meh, it doesn't hold water-- I mean, the Nazis were ardent environmentalists, does that mean environmentalists by extension are anti-Semitic Ethnofascists?

Having said that, I find it awfully convenient that all of these mass shootings happen as more witnesses, accusers, and testimony comes forward against Epstein. I mean, there are definitely no shortage of narcissistic crazies in this country willing to throw their own and other people's lives away for 15 seconds of fame--but, it sure helps a slow news cycle and to advance more than one agenda.

Don't hold your breath, that's the wrong CHARACTERISTIC for their campaign/agenda.

And don't EVER expect them to focus on CHARACTER... because "idiot" and "A-hole" are not "races" so their whole narrative falls apart like single ply toilet paper in a tornado...

Half Cocked 08-06-2019 3:07 PM

This is right out of the Adolph Hitler playbook. Create a boogeyman/scapegoat. In the case of Nazi Germany this was the Jews. For Newscum, the boogeyman is "white supremacists". Blame everything on white supremacists and their supposed leader, President Trump. The ignorant Kommiefornia sheeple will lap it up.

Epaphroditus 08-06-2019 3:13 PM

So glad Idaho came in with all the real true facts ... 'cause crime stats are racist and real true facts at all.

SDG19 08-06-2019 3:23 PM

Idaho - all CG is saying is that this little kumbaya meeting the Gov is holding is political grandstanding, the stats/facts show that white supremacy isn't a major contributor to gun violence.

The so called ultra progressive Democrats (The Sguad, far left socialist wanna be communists et al) aren't evil?

They are THE biggest threat to the traditional American way of life that we were all born into.

DB> 08-06-2019 4:39 PM

Gee, potato guy, thanks for pointing out that Bernie and Warren supporters can be pretty nasty racists too... Facts are so much fun!

The shooters blatantly MISUSED the guns they used, to create societal terrorism... NO ONE is arguing for that, right? Anyone who does that is BAD, whatever other identifiable characteristics they may share with other members of the human race.

The shooters randomly attacked people THEY somehow had decided to kill because of hate - let's put the blame where it lies, and on a "progressive" movement that wants to stab McConnell in the heart (yeah, but it's not gun violence, so it's OK, right?) because he won't take away guns NOW... Lots of VERY violent rhetoric from the Left to go around (and at least two of the shooters leaned "left").

Let's focus on making sure that ANY law abiding American citizen, whatever their characteristics can enjoy the rights the Founding Fathers envisioned! There are enemies of that on both sides....

OP brings up a town meeting where the purpose is to discuss "gun violence and its link to white supremacy", and people are understandably annoyed that only anti-gun views are represented.

But all of you are being so absolutely tone-deaf it's no wonder they don't want a "pro-gun" voice there. I'm reading replies about how minorities are responsible for most crime, how the city leadership is encouraging minority victimization, and the perennial No True Scotsman where everyone disavows a mass shooter based on some arbitrary extracurricular affiliation.

Facts - The El Paso and Gilroy shooters were:
1. Racists
2. Familiar with guns, and owners of semiauto rifles
3. Attacked people who Trump has railed against, even if only coincidentally.

Anyone from outside will read this thread and see that all of their fears about gun owners are true - because I see nothing in here but criticism of minorities and deflecting the blame onto Democrats.

This is a public forum. Have some goddamn common sense and go back to 8chan if you want to share crime rate copypasta.

I agree. The FBI crime stats are completely racist. Because all mass shooters are Trump supporting, Republican white men who hate brown people. Except for Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Aurora, the D.C. snipers, Gabby Gifford's assailant, San Bernardino, Isla Vista, the Navy Yard shooting....

TruOil 08-06-2019 4:51 PM

If you are white, you have "white privilege."
If you have "white privilege" but refuse to disavow it or kill yourself, you are a Supremacist.
Therefore, white people who are not ashamed of themselves are White Supremacists.
Lock 'em up and take away their guns before they hurt someone!

LOL.

Democrats are racists.

Hmmmm...."La Raza." What does that mean and how do THEY get away with it?

John Brown Gun Club....familiar with guns??????

How many times have we heard Maxine and others call for "attacks" on Trump supporters?

The LEFT uses projection, i.e., they accuse others of the things that THEY themselves are doing.

TI-Tick 08-06-2019 5:34 PM

JFC, Go back to ID or wherever you were hatched. The blame is on the gunman. The world's turned upside down and this joker says it's right side up and I'm the problem? GTFO!

The point is that if they are busy accusing gun owners of racism, you don't go on public forums blasting how minorities are the problem. Whether they are or not.

If I go to the doctor because I keep getting splinters in my eyeballs, and he tells me "Oh, the splinters in your eyes aren't the issue, the REAL problem is that you have cancer." He might be right that your systemic problem is going to kill you, but you're not in the ER for your cancer. You probably won't appreciate being told the splinter in your eye should be solved after the cancer is taken care of first.

Mass shootings are, by the numbers, not as much of a problem as gang warfare. And real, uncensored statistics, while unpleasant for many to think about, might be useful in certain contexts and circumstances. Bringing them up when the rest of the world is calling you a racist is not. one. of. them.

If you feel attacked for your race/religion/politics, you're not alone. Just keep in mind the Russians have a vested interest in getting you to feel attacked, and anyone who does attack you might be victims of Russian propaganda just the same.

Who cares what the rest of the world says about us. If you let foreigners' opinions control you, then you're the one most susceptible to foreign propaganda here.

I am a minority and I did not feel this thread attacked minorities at all. It attacked the racist democrats' deception and hypocrisy to link whites and violence while ignoring much more rampant violence committed by minorities. By disarming law abiding Americans, democrats are destroying this country much more than "Russians."

ja308 08-06-2019 11:04 PM

For the record president Trump has never said one derogatory word about Mexicans-- He has rightly condemned people who enter illegally making them criminals.

President trump loves all Americans and is trying his best to make America a place we are all proud of!

Whoever thinks President Trump has racist tendencies is a victim of FAKE NEWS!

50BMGBOB 08-07-2019 2:22 AM

I agree that the people doing these murders are evil and there is something wrong with them. I don't believe getting ride of guns will stop evil.

I also take offense to being grouped in with white supremacy. That is just as prejudice as saying minorities are all criminals. Prejudice breeds prejudice. Everytime the first thing someone who is confronted with facts that don't go their way is to pull the race card just adds to pushing people away. Like the boy who calls wolf, then when actual racism happens people dimiss it. That is one of the points of what is called "generational truma". Not talking about the real problem of evil and what can be done it turns into a discussion on guns and racism.

wpage 08-07-2019 2:57 AM

Shame that white males wether gun owners or not seem to be targets of insult and denigration for miscellaneous and sundry reasons.

Democrats have decided in their desire for votes to throw white men under the bus to capture undecided votes. The strategy for re election is novel and certainly divisive.

You know the antis don't want to ban guns just because they hate guns. Their perception of gun owners is stereotypical crotchety, bitter, angry men - and they're fine doing it just to spite you.

They ban guns because armed citizens are harder to conquer and enslave. They don't hate guns at all. They love using guns to oppress others. Remember when Obama gave free machine guns to cartels? Commies and similar tyrants have always banned guns while using guns to slaughter millions. They are power lusting maniacs bent on world domination and no amount of social skills or appeasement will stop them.
