N = Noob
1 ] Do you have a CalGuns BLUE Polo ? No
2 ] If not ,what SIZE do you wear ? Men, XL
3 ] Which DAY and SHIFT do you prefer ? Both days, both shifts, so as it stands as 1145 02-28: Sat. 1-5 and Sun both shifts, alternate for Sat 8-1. Did that make sense?

Think I'm co coordinating, just got added to CGSSA, so not totally up to speed. Looking forward to kicking this off.

Quick question, how would I get into the show? Do we have to buy tickets? Or what?

I believe admission for booth volunteers should be free. Usually you drive up the 1st booth and tell them you're with a vender. I assume we'll have some sort of "pass" to show them. Then you drive around to the back and park in the vendor parking (parking is free for vendors). Then you need that same "pass" to show security to get inside the gate and hence into the show, avoiding the ticket booth and paying. But this ONLY for booth volunteers!

Note: I've done this 1 time before helping a friend at the Roadrunner show, and my "pass" was simply a button that designated a vendor. I assume it will be much the same with the Crossroads show.

TacticalPlinker 03-03-2013 6:25 PM

Deleted! --- See bplvr post below for CORRECT info about the polo's.

Guitarmoto 03-18-2013 9:13 PM

Are any members manning this booth going to be at the "Super Secret Zombie Shoot" in Barstow, April 13th? I'll be there and would love to say "Hi" and shoot the breeze(or targets) with you if so.

I suppose I should try to make an Island View monthly meet, too:D

If you DO NOT have a blue polo, please contact Vick, his CG name is Can'thavenuthingood.

Vick is the man you need to speak with to get a blue polo to work the show booth.

Yes, you will need to pay for this. Shirts, etc. are NOT provided for you.

Do NOT contact Vic, this is not how the polos are sent .
He sends them to the Saturday Coordinator the Monday before the show.
The polos are handed to the boothies at the start of their shift.

Can'thavenuthingood 03-29-2013 4:06 PM

Yes I'll ship the polo's out to either TacticalPlinker or Ready_eSeVe, whichever one is the preferred catcher of all things show related.

Also anything in particular wanted for the booth itself in the line of T-shirts hats etc.
I'll toss in some Constitution booklets for the table top.

Vick

RedMonkey 03-29-2013 4:21 PM

Vick,

Please send the shirts to me.
I have the plenty of stuff right now. Thanks!

You're going to the show?
I'm confused.

Vick

RedMonkey 03-29-2013 6:02 PM

Yes I am.

I'm confused as well.

Your name is not on the roster though I thought it was at one time. Maybe a different show?

Vick

RedMonkey 03-29-2013 6:59 PM

I just did CM with Mrlonewolf. Will be working this one was well. I'll get it straighten out. :-)

Simply115 03-31-2013 4:11 PM

So, I'm assuming we still have to pay for the shirts?

RedMonkey 03-31-2013 6:25 PM

Yes.

Wow. I completely forgot about that post. It's been deleted.

I'm sorry for any confusion. I was given bad information at some point along the way.

Thanks for the correction!

The Polo's are $20.00 {our cost} BUT CGN gets 4 boothies in the show for free.
The 2nd time you volunteer you already have a polo so......:)
Volunteer lots to re coup your cost.
The polos are very nice and you can ask your GF to marry you while wearing one .
She WILL say yes, as you will be a smart dressed man. ;)

Outstanding idea. I don't want a formal wedding anyway, I might get married in a CalGuns t-shirt holding a rifle or handgun... better yet, I need to get her a CGN t-shirt as well and we can both hold a firearm....

Yeah, I'll pitch that idea to my girl. :)

Simply115 04-04-2013 12:19 PM

Hey, can I change my shirt size? I would like a 3XL, instead of a 2X.

Some Guy 04-06-2013 8:59 AM

Big lunch?

Simply115 04-10-2013 10:03 PM

Well, I'm sorry, but I can't go. My poor scheduling has lead to a conflict. Hopefully, I can volunteer next time.

That's alright bud, thank you anyway and thanks for letting us know. Next time, right?

Bplvr,
Can you please remove Simply115 from the Sat 8-1 shift? Redmonkey will be at the booth for both shifts on Sat, so add him on there and consider us shifts filled for Sat. Thank you.

Looking forward to the inaugural CGSSA VC booth!
