Turners Norwalk Review.

So first I want to start by saying that I have been to many turners outdoorsman stores in and around the Los Angeles area, and never have I had as pleasant of an experience buying a gun as I had at the turners in Norwalk a few weeks ago.

And although I realize that people have different experiences, I must say that from what I have seen I will indeed be returning to the Norwalk store to do my gun buying. Specifically though, I will say that I felt that they treated me as a customer and gave me the respect and undivided attention that I expect when spending large sums. I mean the thing with gun stores seems to be that they often treat their customers poorly because they are unsure of whether they can "trust" them with handling a firearm. Hence, they somehow come to the conclusion that the best course of action is to then treat their customers like children in order to communicate to them what is and what is not safe and/or acceptable when handling firearms.

The problem with this though, is that while certain people may be new to firearms it is in neither party's best interest to make the other feel uncomfortable. Stores want to make money, and people want to pay them for their services. And the only thing which often stands between those two things working out, is a negligent employee (often more than one) who doesn't understand the buyers point of view or is outright rude and disrespectful.

Needless to say, I felt that none of what I mentioned could apply to the gentlemen that sold me my rifle and because of that, I feel very confident that I will be returning to turners whenever I need or want something. I return tommarow to pick up my rifle and think I might pick up some extra stuff if they catch me in a good mood ;)

And so from now on, I will only be returning to the Norwalk store as my 'primary' and West Covina as my secondary since I think they are 'okay' and I'm often in the area. Word of advice to those around the area would be go Norwalk or West Covina, but to absolutely avoid Pasadena if at all possible.

5 stars for turners Norwalk :)
