I got a case from both sites last time--they are identical. Shoots great and they are packaged minimally. I think I got 1600 rounds unopened in a .50 can.

Note that on TargetSports they state (through their Q&A) these have the sealed red primers. Both my orders do NOT have said sealed primers.

I remember back in 2001 when I bought my fist .45 at Walmart 100rd value pack of winchester white box was 19.99 while I doubt we will see those days again we are getting pretty close.

Prices won't go down too much since everyone in Cali is hoarding ammo right now. Come 2018 though..... all these ammo vendors will be hurting. That's when prices will drop but it won't do us any good.

Ya have to enter LDN in the first page of check out and at the end before completing ya have to click the 'APPLY' button below the already stated $20 discount for the shown and entered LDN. THEN it takes the shipping off......

BTW due to the head stamp with the spacing btw the '9X 19' this might be made in Hungary. Apparently the RUAG plant only makes non toxic police and military ammo and they have the rest made in Hungary. I read this on an ammo collector site posted in March 2017 as they examined the head stamp. Boxes of this same stuff marked "head stamp MEN" are another factory in Germany. Some reviews claim the speed is lower than the specs read. Also no sealed primers.
No big deal to me, I bet the quality control is great and its a good value.

The box says made in Germany. Word is that these are a limited supply of military surplus that some retailers have gotten ahold of, so that seems consistent with the info you read.

I have no problem with this ammo. Got 2 cases. It is just interesting to know about various sources of production under "made in Germany" name.

RWS ammo is made in Hungary as an aside. Apparently the brand is now owned by Geco or Ammotec since about 5 yrs ago or more. Geco also is a trademark of RUAG Ammotec.

You have to hit the "apply" button at the second to last screen in order to re-apply the discount code you entered on the first check out page... that is what happened to me. Only then did the free shipping kick in ontop of the first registered $20 discount....kind of weird.

I shot 100 rounds of S&B 124 grain out of my Browning BDM. Every round fired. That is some of the cleanest brass I've ever seen.

124 grain tends to shoot low at 25 yards.

Still working.

And 4% from AJ. Not bad.

Got one box delivered some days ago. Slight tear in exterior shipping box.
Today I see that fedex is having 'issues' with the second order... box damage. So I contacted brownells and alerted them in case they need to reship.
I had to press my case bc the 'agent' gal said, we shipped it so its up to you now...UH, my order is incomplete of I do not receive it !!!

I am waiting on a third shipment for tomorrow. I hope fedex does not screw the pooch !
But basically Brownells does a poor packaging job.

Updated: flimsy boxes that Brownells uses don't stand up to shipping. Fedex ended up returning to browwnells and today Brownells got a new order going to me via UPS... good customer service as long as I was ontop of the detail !!
