Trying to find out what gen my glock 19 is and value.
I have a glock 19 and payed $400 for it, it has no finger grooves, or rail, and the serial number starts with AKL and I believe was made in 1993, my question is wether it's a gen 1 or 2? I know it's not a 3. Also if I payed a good amount for it or what it's value is? Anyone have any answers for me?

Looks like a Gen2 to me, just like the one I have. I'll give you 50 bucks for it! ;) Seriously, they seem to go for $400-$450 or so depending on condition. Yours looks pretty nice so maybe a bit more.

Thanks and yea I figured it couldn't be a gen 3 because it didn't have finger grooves or rail. I also have a Glock 21 with serial numbers startIng AKL has finger grooves and rail also has trijicon night sights. I traded a sig sp2022 for it, included 5 mags, 2 were 13 rds and I got rid of them, also included leather mag and handcuff holster combo like what cops carry, also a dual mag pouch and glock leather holster can't remember the brandof the top of my head.

Yep, the 21 sounds like a Gen3. Sounds like a pretty good trade to me!

What are the gen 3 21 usually worth?
I also have a sig sp2340 with 3 mags and all original factory stuff included and it has night sights. I'm wantin to trade it for a glock in .40, 10mm, or any other glock in glock 19 size or bigger. Idk all the different models but not lookin for the small compact ones. Needs to have a barrel length of 4" or bigger, you happen to have any leads that might be interested? |
Gen 2, it has the textured grip so its not a gen 1. And as stated no finger grooves so not a gen 3.

It's a gen 2 because of the grid pattern on the front of the grip. If it has Austrian proof marks it's worth a little more.

Anyone have a glock in .40 that has barrel 4" or longer? To trade for sig sp2340 with 4 mags, original case, a lock and paperwork also has extra blackstrap and box of 50 rds of ammo.
