you find some of the coolest stuff :) how much does it run? Its in vapor form as well so its the most efficent way of using the fuel.

Those stoves are not available to the public. If you find one, they want a ridiculous amount for them. MSR made them to be tested by the military, and the military didn't commit to ordering more.

This guy makes some incredible stoves: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrXDXL8MiQTmRM5H5tU7iWA

I've built a couple of them myself & they really work pretty good. There's a bit of a language barrier, and you have to convert from metric (unless you have the right tools)... but they really are ingenious.

Where do you buy the alcohol for the stoves and how much is it?

IIRC it's just denatured alcohol, which you can get anywhere.

Denatured alcohol is all you need. You can get it at pretty much any hardware store. I use HEET in the yellow bottle. It's anti-freeze for your car's fuel lines. You can pick it up anywhere they sell auto stuff. Do not use the red bottle. It has a bunch of additives that are not safe to burn. The yellow bottle is straight ethyl alcohol IIRC.

The cans that he uses were hard to find in the US for a while... but several companies are using that design now. Coors Light uses them, as well as several energy drink companies.
