I'd by it in a heartbeat if I had the cash, but alas, I do not.

Sell or Trade/mix? - CNC Servo Impact II Benchtop Mill - $1500 (Carmichael)
Powered by Leaflet — Terms

Hello,

Decided I should depleat my Toy's by One machine. Picked a good one if your looking for THE BEST DEAL ON EARTH on a Commercial quality CNC Mill which comes with a super sturdy chanel iron table on castors and a Hard Rock maple top. $1500 Very Firm (Bargain if not aware) Buyer responsible for pickup.

May consider trade for firearms, LARGE Anvil, Snap-On or Matco Tool Chests or only top brand in one of my other interests which are:

Woodworking, machining, Forging, casting, glass, lapidary, Exotic car paraphernalia(or a Ferrari) but really like F-1, Indycar stuff; nice watch like TAG, you get the picture...? Intrigue me!

Note: The Picture is not mine but is identical. Have lots of pics....on another computer being worked on.

Please read all the information below so you know exactly what I'm offering. No surprises!

Informed people into CNC milling machines will certainly recognize the Name brand here. "Servo"

When I was researching benchtop CNC mills I thought the Sherline was nice, Taig a bit stronger then came across a Commercial duty high dollar benchtop mill which is, well, built to run all day every day reliably with super acuracy.

Was a software engineers personal toy from Silicon Valley. They cost around $17,000 new.

I paid quite a bit for it and find myself in a bind which you may want to take advantage of if financially feasable for you.

Do a little research on the Servo Impact II mill.

Please read this: I picked it up with a U-Haul and with the engineer's assistance, tied it down very well. Vibration from the Bay area to Sacto shook the LED readout (screen only) loose so I won't power up the CNC portion with possible metalic particles laying inside the Controller. I can plug in the Mill to spin it, but don't want to use the CNC until upgrading some electronic components. Never intended to use the Controller anyway although it does look cool.

It's manufactured by Servo which also makes full size mills. This one is for small percision work. You'll see some very light surface rust on the table but it came off easily. By the way, the mills steel table is a couple inches thick. Servos, not Steppers, closed loop and mounted on a very stout Rock Maple table with sealed enclosure under table in back for electronics.

The Belt Cover was missing so purchased a new one (not in picture but mounted currently). The brand new Servo Impact Mills almost identical to this one with the main exception being more compact electronics. All the electronics worked fine when it was demonstrated for me. I recommend upgrading some of the electronics yourself, or having it upgraded for you by a local person who sells the necessary parts too. Not expensive either way.

In my opinion this would be the best small precision mill a non-industrial user could wish for. I am asking half of what I paid as I am aware the economy has devalued anything you list on the Internet. This is a very good price for a quality piece of equipment.

$1500 is a fantastic deal.

Ebay these sell for an average of $7000 grand running from a pc or laptop instead of the older 100 pin circuite boards.

Cheapest Servo Impact II's I've ever seen, and they simply don't become available often. Never seen one locally.
