Hey guys how is this gun show? I haven't been to a gun store in years and ont really want to waste my weekend if its not a good show. I pretty much just want to be sure this isn't one of those gun shows that sells everything BUT guns.

thespy 04-10-2013 4:08 PM

I dont know, I've never been to this one.

TriggerHappy86 04-15-2013 9:07 AM

I've never been to this show either, but if they say the Ontario show wasn't that that bad, them I'm willing to go the distance and give it a try for ammo.

Do they sell powder at the Victoville gun show?

wkelly 04-15-2013 5:21 PM

Anybody know?

Last Victorville show had LAX ammo but and some other vendors. The line was like 3 hours just for ammo. Not as many other vendors there either. Some tactical gear vendors and surplus vendors. It wasn't the worst show, but not the best either.

I go to the Victorville show every time it's in town, and have never had to wait in long lines for anything but ammo. Some folks have powder, but not much. I will be going around 10:00am Saturday to unload a couple guns and some .22 ammo I've been hoarding. Hope to see a few more people there than the last show. Genders were there, but not too many patrons.

Probably a couple hundred people in line

I go each time its in town, And this time no exception. My day starts at Rustys Cafe at 0700 for breakfast, then get in line at the show at 0800. And yes the line was LONG! Most are there for the ammo, I don't go for ammo. That ammo line is just CRAZY LONG! Plus pricing is still a tad high. I did however have a few friends that got in line at about 0200, and they got in got their ammo and out before I had made it in! I got in about 0935, (opened at 0900) so not a bad wait time, you meet some interesting people to talk to while waiting in line!

I went for mostly to see what reloading staff was there. I was able to find a complete case trimmer for 50.00, and some tray boxes for 3 for 10. I had JUST missed out on some 9mm bullets as this old guy kinda just swooped in and snatched them, I wasn't gonna start an argument over it so I let it roll.

There was plenty of the tactical bag vendors, beef jerky, few tables with guns on them, LAX ammo, surefire ammo, beer, and random other things. Couple tables with reloading gear, some with older "rare" caliber rounds, knifes, stun guns etc. PLENTY of AR gear vendors. Did see some lowers/uppers/complete ARs but WAY WAY WAYYYY to pricy for my blood! 1100+ for a complete, 200+ for stripped lowers. Also some 80% lowers but couldn't get an answer on were we could finish them locally.... plus something just bugged me about the guy....

I did not however find ANYONE with powder. I saw some Small Rifle Primers at about 50.00/1000. I might go back tomorrow and see if the guy from Apple Valley Gun Club who does bullets brings anymore 9mm. He has them 500 (copper jacked round nose) for 47.99.

Decent outing for myself i would say. Lots to look at and you just never know when you will find something. So IMO it was worth it today.

Oh and
