note: I know most of you don't need an update as we've pretty much camee to the conclusion as to what the issue is. But I just wanted to share because at some point another person will come across the same situation and hopefully this thread will be helpful

went to the range this AM. I was still all over the place, not even worth measuring. I also shot 4x5 round groups of 75gr Hornady TAP, which all came in well under MOA with the best group at 0.556" (cool number). So it wasnt me (well its me diring the loading process) or my gear.

Frustrating morning at the range. Previously favor loads are being beat out by previous crap loads. A new bullet that has previously performed well was all over the place. Any input appreciated!

Crushed some cases

Set up my .223 dies in my new turret press. Guess I didn't back out the seating die enough. When I first tested slowly to adjust seating depth everything was fine. Then when I got going I ended up with crushed shoulders My own fault as there was a noticeable inconsistency in the ram stroke, but I ignored...

First couple of outings

Started reloading about 6 weeks ago. My main goal with learning reloading was to simply learn another aspect of the shooting sport and to create long range ammo for my rifles. I shoot an RRA AR 16" 1/9 which nothing fancy, it's a 3/4 moa rifle when I do my part, and I really just want to take it...
