After getting some misdirection with my first encounter with the LASD while trying to get an officer to "witness" sections 6, 7, and 8 of my application, I thought it would be worthwhile to chronicle my experience thus far.

So here goes......

Acronyms used

DOJ = California Department of Justice (writes the regulations)
OAL = Office of Administrative Law (middleman who approves/publishes "regular" regulations, or publishes without approval "file & print" regulations)
PC/GC = California...

After stepping away from participating in calguns for a while, I've come back and when i read some interesting threads and posts, and i notice some things.

I notice that some people on here are SO horribly wrapped around unenforceable law that it literally prevents them from doing anything...
