I'll second that just don't bring Darkside of the Moon when the dentist says to bring your favorite music. It is much too quiet. Something from Social Distortion should drown out the cracking, snapping and sawing sounds.
I've had about 8 permanent teeth pulled, and you never know. My orthodontist was an evil sadist.
